Modeling Materials for Health

Soft Matter and Polymer Physics are often key elements to develop drug delivery systems, create new biocompatible hydrogels, or even understand complex biological tissues and molecules. Modeling offers a way to test such complex materials in a controlled and inexpensive environment, supporting or guiding the path to experimental development or optimization. We target fundamental problems in polymer physics that constitute bottlenecks for the development of new biomedically relevant materials, often in collaborations with experimental groups.
