Nayan Vengallur

Nayan earned his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Madras Christian College, Chennai, and completed his Master’s degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2021. During his master's program, he conducted research on the modelling of Whisperonic solar cells for his thesis. Afterward, he served as a project associate in Tarak Patra's group at IIT Madras, primarily focusing on simulations of immiscible polymer blends. In 2022, he joined the Giuntoli group to pursue his PhD. Currently, he is working on coarse-grained simulations of charged polymers. In his free time he likes to indulge in all things sci-fi. Otherwise he would be playing video games or going down the Wikipedia rabbit holes.
