Ian Soede

Ian started his bachelor's of Applied Physics at the University of Groningen in 2020. During his bachelor's he took part in the Top Dutch Solar Racing team, engineering a solar electric vehicle to race in Australia. Under the supervision of Andrea Giuntoli, Ian did his thesis in Applied Physics combined with the solar racing project, researching how, using computational fluid dynamics, introducing asymmetry into the vehicle could improve aerodynamics in asymmetric winds. For leisure, Ian likes to make analogue photographs, speed skate, sail, grow vegetables in his garden and enjoy events at his study association.
